We announced awhile ago that we were making Violet Dawn a free Campaign Setting via a new Wiki website. Today, we are releasing the first iteration of the Violet Dawn Wiki through Obsidian Portal.

We are showing off 6 pieces of artwork from our upcoming 4th Edition product line. Some of this artwork is old and some of it has never been seen before. You'll see some of this in a future product while other pieces will end up on the cutting room floor. This is the first in a series of preview galleries.

Office Space Sale!

We are holding a huge sale on eBay to clear out a bunch of products to make some room in our home office for when our 4th Edition production kicks into high steam. There is a lot of great products up on eBay now that we would like to pass on to someone else.

We have nearly 100 auctions in total with more being added throughout the week (thanks Christine!). Among the things we are selling are a huge list of 3rd Edition d20 books like Monte Cook's Arcana Unearthed, Arms and Equipment Guide, Complete Book of Eldritch Might, Creature Collection 2, Magic of Faerun, Player's Guide to the Wilderlands, d20 Modern, the original Tome of Horrors, and many others.

We're also selling a bunch of fantasy novels from authors like R.A. Salvatore, Margaret Weis, Tracy Hickman, Michael Moorcock, David Drake, and Robert Jordan. Books such as The Dragon Reborn, Thousand Orcs, Lord of the Isles, Dragons of Summer Flame, Elric of Melnibone, and The Dragon's Dagger.

We also have a bunch of miscellaneous stuff like Fantasy Flight's awesome War of the Ring, Viking Battle of Asgard for XBOX 360, a wireless XBOX 360 Network Adapter, the Settlers of Catan expansion Fisherman of Catan, as well as some rare Games Workshop miniatures.

For the Inner Circle, the 3rd Edition era has come to a close...

We know that there are plenty of people out there who are either sticking with 3.5 or moving over to Pathfinder. We can't fault any of those players as 3rd Edition is what brought back D&D in a major way and spawned a lot of great 3rd party publishers and a plethora of amazing content.

The Inner Circle and 4th Edition

We've been one of the staunchest supporters of Wizards of the Coast and 4th Edition over the year leading up to its release. We are pleased to finally announce our support for the Game System License and what we think is the best edition of Dungeons & Dragons to date.

With the release of 4th Edition, we've decided to focus primarily on Violet Dawn and releasing products that will support our own campaign setting. We realize that not everyone wants a new campaign setting, but we promise to deliver the best products possible so they can be easily converted to your weekly game or mined for ideas with our unique take on what a campaign setting and a fantasy world should entail.

Violet Dawn Adventure Path
We are hard at work on our own Adventure Path which will finally lift the veil on the world of Avadnu and properly introduce you to the wonder and horror that is Violet Dawn.

The first trilogy of modules will take characters from 1st to 10th level through all of the Heroic Levels of play. It is a tale of deception and intrigue set against a backdrop of an awakening evil. The path as a whole will take adventurers from 1st to 30th level, a truly epic journey and a fitting opening for the uninitiated into the enigmatic world of Avadnu.

We will have more information on the first adventure in the trilogy, The Forgotten City, in the coming weeks.

Player's Guide to Violet Dawn
A dedicated Player's Guide will give players all they need to know their characters ready to go and learn the basics of this exciting world. Here is a look at how the Player's Guide currently breaks down:

Introduction
What you know about Avadnu
Races (Human, Mistji, Ngakoi, Skarren, and Zeidian will be playable.)
Class Roles (The classes role on Avadnu including unique build options, powers, exploits, etc.)
Religion (A brief look at the gods and religion of Avadnu.)
Equipment (Unique weapons, armor, and special equipment indigenous to Avadnu.)

We are taking the Blizzard approach to release dates and saying that our products will be released when they are finished not an hour before. Stop by our forums to let us know what you want to see and keep an eye on our blog for more information in the coming weeks.

Our New Website

I’ve emerged from the bowels of the Inner Circle complex grateful to see the sun and take in fresh air for the first time in almost 8 weeks. We are very proud to announce our new Inner Circle website!

When we decided to continue with the Inner Circle and support 4th Edition under Wizards of the Coast’s Game System License (GSL), I had planned on making a few minor changes to the site to coincide with our announcement. Chris insisted that our old website was a horrible mess and was busy and poorly organized. I didn’t agree at the time, but decided to gut the whole site anyway.

My initial estimate was 2 weeks to coincide with the clearance sale on Denizens of Avadnu that we have in conjunction with Paizo Publishing. Here we are almost 8 weeks later with a whole slew of features we never intended on adding, but with a much better website and a very clear idea of what we plan on doing with our company this year.

Here are some of the major features of our new website:

A New Domain Name
Our website now resides at Inner Circle Anything that still links to the old Inner Circle address still works, but that will eventually go away. Please update your bookmarks.

Redesigned Homepage
We now have a much cleaner and easier to navigate homepage. Our top three updates are prominently displayed so you know at a glance the latest news from the Inner Circle. We have an area for polls where we can elicit feedback which will help us improve our products and release what you want to see.

We also have our blog, Arcane Sight, live streaming onto our homepage so you can see our latest posts without going somewhere else. This also makes it easier for us as we can update the blog without having to update the home page of the website.

Our Own Community Website
The Conclave is our new community message board that you can visit to discuss previous and upcoming Inner Circle products. A lot of people hate registering for forums, so we have a common guest account that anyone can use.

To get our community started, we are also giving away FREE copies of The Broken Isles Player’s Guide to the first 100 people who register. Being a member of the Conclave also entitles you to monthly drawings where you can win cool Inner Circle prizes like signed prints and other Inner Circle goodness.

RSS Feeds
To give you that “Web 2.0” experience, we’ve added an RSS feed for the main website so you can be updated with all of the latest Inner Circle news through your favorite RSS Reader. Our blog runs on Wordpress, so you can add that to your RSS reader as well to get up to the minute information on the Inner Circle.

Online Shopping Made Easier
Our product information pages have been updated to be much easier to use and we are once again offering our entire catalog of products on our website. All of our payments are handled via PayPal through a secure server so you can rest assured that all transactions are conducted in the safest manner possible.

Frequent Updates
Our plans include website updates at least once per week with some cool new features like Live or Die where you can test your mettle against the Inner Circle on XBOX Live.
